We play on a system called ErgoRest. The idea behind ErgoRest is to play with as less tension as possible. It includes an adjustment of a shoulder rest that is personalised for every shoulder, so it really fits the individual player.
This will not only make us more relaxed while we play, but it increases the quality and quantity of the sound too. With the shoulder rest we are able to express ourselves better.
